Parker Ridge - Saskatchewan Glacier

"Himself" on Parker Ridge just before descending. The wind blew briskly as we were exposed at the edge of the tree line. From here we watched a hawk hang motionless, riding the wind rising from the valley floor up the ridge. All my layers went back on. Glad I took my mittens as we learned the 80° in Calgary does not translate into a warm day in the mountains. If you look carefully fossilized coral can be found in the rubble along the trail.
